It's really more of a joke now. Like social commentary. Disgust that fiskars and Home Depot would rather we Americans do this, then to actually create a better product.
Oh well.
What was that someone said about a new model coming out?

The inside is crazy. I had to take apart three until I could fully understand it. There's a cord that wraps around a bunch of times and little stopper knots, a webbing to cord conversion buckles....and they all need to be set JUST right.
I'm able to take them apart and fix them- but it's just...
Oh...Pro Tip:
When returning, ask for cash back...and get your receipt back, too. Now you have $87.17 in your pocket AND you can claim the initial purchase as an expense.

This isn't an anvil cutter. It's a bypass shear and yes I've used fred Marvin and Jameson poles. They are wayyyyyyyyy more robust- but can't get in the angles to make the proper cuts that the Pruning Stik can.

Just to catch you up to speed, I do not buy this whole printer to avoid the expense of getting a proper pruner. In fact I'm sure I spend more per year in pole pruners then many of you guys combined! Ha ha
I prefer this tool because there is no tool on the market that allows you to adjust the...
I really think that they are getting weaker. We are using them just as we were a year ago. But they are just not lasting.
Luckily there are like 6 Home Depots in the area and I am always traveling around the city so I split up the returns between all the different Home Depots in the area :lol...
I agree!!!!
The truth is, it's a AMAZING machine. Whoever came up with the concept of how those inner mechanisms work together....pure genius. The concept is wayyyyyy better than the dangly rope hanging off a pulley.
However....I think we lost something in the corporate implementation of the...
Just brought 2 more to Home Depot for swapping. Same prob on both of them- jammed in a mostly-shut fashion like this:
Both were put into service on 6/26. Didn't get 2 months out of 2 of them and we haven't been using them that much lately- doing a few removals and lots of handsaw works...
I've started engraving the date they go into service on them. I wanna record exactly how many days we get out if them. I know we are using them professionally or whatever- but we are having them break after less than ten days in the field I think sometimes. I'll start keeping track.
First one...
I'm sure there is. I've never seen it though. I figured it out. Its sorta complicated and a description would be 3 pages long.
Who's gonna call fiskars and ask?!!

That corona one is too short. Less than 6'. The Fiskars extends to 12'
Yesterday I got 2 more of the Fiskars- free exchanges from Home Depot.
I've been noticing changes in the design. Things are getting flimsier and I'm noticing that they aren't lasting as long.
I'm gonna etch the date into...
