We've decided to spend about 10 days in September exploring southern Utah. Zion, Bryce, Escalante, etc. Anyone have any tips to share or suggestions for special hikes or places to go and things to see? How about special lodging and dining? Neither of us have been there before so any suggestions...

Normally it would take us about 4-5 hours to look at 1000 pics. He takes that many when we go on vacation. But this time I'm sure there will be a story to be told behind every picture and I can see it will take us all day. Good thing I have the day off Wednesday.

I've been getting emails every day and Jer is enjoying the time with Graeme. He is particulary liking being able to take his pictures from 200 feet up in a bucket. I think taking pictures from that height in a bucket is a first for him. I hope he gets to see a little of the local scenery.

How could I have forgotten that little fact? So I guess it's his first pleasure trip out of the country.

Got an email from Jer this morning, he has finally arrived in Australia after 2 days of travel. He's with Graeme McMahon. I believe the big Euc take down is scheduled to begin today, which is really tomorrow in Australia. I'm sure he'll have Aussie tales and great photos for all of us.
