My mid life crisis was the Norton, and tbh the magic wasn’t there anymore, and I scared myself a little! I love bikes though, always check them out when they pull off or race past. I reckon a decent 250 off road would suit me.

Night riding in the summer when you can smell the countryside and feel the cooler air of a sunken valley. I liked that, makes you feel alive.

Well it?s sold. Some enthusiast from Paris came yesterday, knows his stuff, already plans to replace the twin carbs with a single, a common fix for a recurring issue. Good that someone is going to do it justice. Shame I took such a bath on the price!

Jay, those classic old Jap bikes are still really cheap. I know of a barn with a water cooled GT750 and a couple of GT500s sitting rotting away.
