    346xp vs 357xp

To me it is of no importance really as you still have saw in same position, still need to take it back before mount, still hold the bar tip up and can easily turn the screw no matter if it is on side or in front.

    346xp vs 357xp

If memory serve me correct it was not as simple as a patent thing... There was no way around it worth the effort and cost involved so it was dropped at the time. To the loggers it was not so important at the time as they are more concerned the saws performance and runtime between service with...

If it is the "Intenz" system that is referred to yes, that was a consumer grade idea.

It is not tuned down, just another configuration. Better saw if there is a tad bigger wood or for firewood pile. It has larger cc and more bottom and mid range power.

We don't have the X-torq version here, only regular 372.... Not sure how it is in rest of Europe but I think old version is available in all of Europe. That would be the one to prefer IMO.

    346xp vs 357xp

357 run great with 16" .325 and 18" if it is 3/8. More than that they tend to get hot as it is more of limbing saw than felling saw. If I were you I would try to get a non x-torq 372. Not much different in prices compared to difference in saw.

    346xp vs 357xp

I ran 44 and 444 a lot. Not bad saws with exception of the crappy ignition system. In Japan you find them labled as other things to. I have 644, 445SE for example...

I was more referring to X-Torq. As we don't have them here, I thought you could be interested in knowing this. 365 we have not had in product list for quite some time...

Are you sure about that? It seems the 372 x-torq is a North America pet. I looked around for the X-torq versions here and they are not available, only the normal engine in 372. I think chances are these saws in Italy is same. Making shelf space and ending a era in selling last old out. 357, 372...
