Tweaker be tweakin'... Police footage. Intense. I love how they blur the daughter's face in the video, but use her in the Thumbnail picture, as of she's the meth addict lmao such idiocy.

Guy stupidly jumps off of the 3rd floor balcony with what appears to be an assault weapon of some kind after a long standoff with police while barricaded in his apartment. He got some LTL (less than lethal) before the jump (says 40mm, maybe pepper balls or something similar), and several LTL...

The number one rule of a knife fight, as far as I'm concerned, is to not get into one. Knife fights, unless you're a seasoned pro (and who really is unless you practice close combat in real life and in training), are bloody. Also, never grab your opponents blade, which can be difficult to not do...

This is an interesting way of avoiding getting your ring to ring stuck during a soft retrieval (they use the Petzel Naja, but I think you can almost definitely use a ring to ring with this technique just fine) by using your tail to have an elevated point through a natural crotch or retrievable...

Fooled me. I'm sure you were more observant than I was. Only watched it once. Commence the public shaming. I brought raw tomatoes and wilted cabbage. Throw them at me and laugh with your fingers pointed! Lol, sorry, just having fun. Thanks for clarifying, @Marc-Antoine! =-D

Those sparking gloves are great. Long boarders use them and they make the metal out of ferrocerium so it sparks like wild.

This guy from Russia (I believe he's from Russia; his name is Semyon Rezchikov) takes killer portrait photos of strangers. Check out his channel; mostly his shorts.

This is a really fun watch. This guy mostly does chemistry related videos (which, as a chemist, I'm super into), and this involves bullet proofing wood.

Great episode on sewing machines... The thumbnail for that obscure channel was stolen from this video.

Internet, itself, has changed dramatically. Remember how we all used to have to connect to our ISP through a dial up connection on a hard telephone line through a CAT-5 cable or telephone cable? Now most of us have insane bandwidth on our computers/phones through fiber optic WIRELESS internet...

Interesting how a knot in a Nylon sling will actually reduce forces. I definitely wasn't expecting that. Makes me want to use Nylon for alpine climbing, instead of Dyneema, going forward. Too bad it weighs so much more and takes up more space.

As long as you stay at or below your anchor, no matter how much slack you have (unless you have so much that you'll hit the ground), you can only ever produce a factor 1 fall or lower. EDIT: But of course, @CurSedVoyce is also correct in saying that anymore than 3 feet of slack, even with a...

But wouldn't 3 feet of slack, 3 feet above your anchor be a factor 2 fall? I think the most important rule is to stay at or below your anchor point as often as possible, and to keep slack obviously to a minimum.

Interesting. I always thought drop tests had some kind of effect on the ultimate rating, as I believed taking drop tests into consideration is important for generating a proper 10:1 safety ratio, and that shock loading was used as a part of a manufacturer's quality control at the very least...

All I was saying is that drop tests undoubtedly raise the ultimate rating for a piece of hardware or software above what it would be if only pull tests had been performed. It's obviously not the only determinatining factor for a rating. I could have worded what I said better.
