It came in the night, roaring on the wind. I had thought I'd wake up to much more, but as I hoped, the rage of the storm was nearly spent by the time it arrived. Lots of wind, but only about an inch of accumulation. Melting fast in the sun.

It's here, started at about 0330 as big fat rain drops, then quickly transitioning to snow. Got about an inch and a half. Thick low cloud cover, the sun is just a brighter spot of gray, getting some more much smaller flakes now, well see if it amounts to anything.

0900, March 7th. It's snowing at my place. To warm to stick, and only lasted 15 minutes, as that particular cloud passed by, but it did snow. We get a little storm in April just about every year, not usually much, but measurable accumulation. Late March can often bring a full blown blizzard...
