Tallest tree I’ve ever been in was a Tulip too, it’s very rare that a 150’ rope, (doubled so TIP 75ft) isn’t enough from tie in to ground. My tie in was around 110’ on that Tulip, it was pretty beautiful tree... for a poplar. Probably 85+% of the trees around here, a 120’ line is enough...

I’m jealous, I admit it. If you leave the family a pile of cash to hold them over, plus extra cash to have fun with, they’ll probably let you come back afterwards ;) Or just lie. Pretend like you told her a million times about that really close and beloved family member in BC.

Or if you don’t own a bucket truck but happen to have a buddy with a debilitating climbing gear addiction and the poor bastard has been grounded in a nasty little factory staring at computer screens for a month and his spurs are gonna start rusting if they don’t get sunk in some wood soon...

Just double checking because of the snow on the ground @Frankie there’s not a sidewalk between the tree and the property, is there? I mean like a public sidewalk not a walkway to the front door. If there is it’s almost certainly not his tree, and not his responsibility. Also the property owner...
