Just a factory bored out 39 cc cylinder Jed, same stroke and crankcase and everything else as what the 39cc model had. Probably lighter with that thinner cylinder wall if that's what Husqvarna did. If I find one of these California's in new condition, or still may be new inventory somewhere...

A buddy of mine has a modified 338XPT California which is 45 cc in displacement. He claims it out cuts his 346XP which has the same level of modifications. Husqvarna built the California with the extra 6 cc over the 338 - 39cc to make up for power lost with it's strict EPA design. Take away...

I missed out on those older 335/338XPT units. Mine is the NE (new edition). Totally different animal. I ran 020T/MS200'S since 1995 , the 338XPT NE is a real nice change in power and ergonomics . One day I'll have to get a 201 or the cold blooded fattened up 540.

I loved my last MS200, but this Husky 338XPT I got that I modded years ago just won't die . Just rips like there's no tomorrow and my old MS200 is a cinder block compared to this little 338:)

No excuse to avoid working out at home. The power tower ,bike and power rack I bought through Amazon for under a $1000. The tread mill I paid $3000 for about 10 years ago and still a great investment. I had those weight plates since I was a young kid back in the logging camp days. The puny dumb...

August, of the mention in your poem about you quit drinking, it made me think of a sobering quote I heard from a writer a while ago: "Alcohol gave me wings, then it took away the sky."

Yes I've heard of VHS being converted to digital. I have a guy here who takes care of a website for our local winter festival that I'm a director of. I'm going to see if he can convert the tape and get it on YouTube for me. Here's a pic with new age smartphone technology taking a pic of old...
