Late update. I finally got to head to the range and shoot the 686. Very smooth and accurate. I'm very happy with my choice of revolver. Didn't even have to move the rear sight (so far). I smell a .44 Magnum in the near future. :) Gary- GASoline71

I just bought this yesterday. Been wanting a Smith and Wesson revolver ever since I saw the first Dirty Harry movie when I was young. I would love to have a Model 29 in .44 Magnum like Clint carried in that flick. But I settled on a Stainless Steel Model 686 .357 Magnum. I'm lookin' forward...- GASoline71
