    Good Morning!

The difference between home raised and commercial eggs is astounding. So much so that commercial eggs should only be legally called "egg-like" objects.

    Good Morning!

Already 65, and climbing here. We have had a couple of good rain storms in the last week. Would have been a lot of nasty snow, that I'm glad we didn't get.

    Good Morning!

Grew up in a non-drinking house. Got to keep an eye on blood pressure and sugar. And fowl is just foul. So is fish.

    Good Morning!

We haven't pulled it yet. This place comes to a screeching halt without the loader. Used 7 days a week. There's a shop we can use, just have to coordinate the repair.

    Good Morning!

It's the sugar as much as the caffeine that I need to avoid. I know I could go to decaf and sugar substitute, but it's just easier to quit cold turkey. Saves bucks, too.

    Good Morning!

Been monkeying with the log skidder. It doesn't like the cold, so I installed a block heater. The piping that was there wasn't ideal, so I'm trying to figure out the coolant flow so I can reroute it. Had it running this morning. Going to try and get in the woods soon but I've got to get my...

    Good Morning!

Back in 2008 we had to have the CAT dealer come out. I know it was $2.45/mile, and I think was damn near $200/hr. port to port. Wood Mizer paid that bill, on account that CAT wouldn't stand behind their Perkapiller engines. :what:

    Good Morning!

I've heard it will deter rats. I guess they don't like the flavor. I'd expect in reality it would hold moisture and rot the top of the engine. Perhaps keep a cat under the hood?

Can you fill the valley with spray foam?:P Damn varmints!

I'll ask around. I don't know of any offhand.

    Good Morning!

The little house we renovated two winters ago had a bathroom with the same tub and tile color. I couldn't get the cast iron tub out of the upstairs alone, so I busted it up with a sledgehammer and shovelled it and the tile down a hole in the floor. Those cast tubs are much lighter in a 100 pieces.

    Good Morning!

Dodge dropped the big blocks in '78. You could build a torquey 360, especially if you can put an Edelbrock carb intake kit on without pissing off the CARB gods.

    Good Morning!

My first truck was an '85 W350 crew cab short bed. Nickname: The Family Truckster.
