My bud has one for a produce market truck. He likes it. Easy to maneuver, good visibility, and tight turning.

Looks like they didn't sand before they painted. For what paint costs these days I would say they shot themselves in the foot.

It sucks when equipment cost us money, instead of making us money. Fact of life though. If you don't have it it can't make ya no money.

Nice line-up. My bud had a 64 T Bird that got left on his property in Florida. He died and his wife got notified it was stolen. Probably parted out on E-Bay would be my guess. I have a 72 1/2 ton Chev pick up a 67 flat bed one ton and a 72 Valiant. My first car on the road was a 66...

I agree. If it still had the original engine, that adds to value. Out west where there are all kinds of old stuff in good shape I would think the market would be a little lower. Although I have a bud who has been redoing old vehicles as a fill in in his body shop. 67 Malibu, not immaculate...

Lucky you. One would think they would carry the guts like they used to. One clip ring dumps the guts out, clean it up, and pop it back together. Unfortunately I don't give Sears much longer to live. Our two area stores are really dead. I used to love that store years ago.

They used to give you the ratchet guts. Don't use it to rap anything. The new ones have a plastic direction flipper.

Military surplus, Paul? I bought a German rain suit from Sportsman Guide a few years back. Brand new, about $20. It is great except no hood. They used to have some good buys on surplus. Not so much now. Probably a lot of competition for the stuff.

My Australian Cattle dog used to herd kids in our back yard any time a group of them gathered. Funny how it gets bred right into them.

You would not believe the prices today, Al. The gasket set is probably $125- 150. Chevy SB is still the cheapest parts though.

It seems like most Chevys are great but a few are real crap. Probably the case with any brand. My ex and I had a brand new 74 3/4 ton, 350, 350 TH. Chevy made millions just like it. Should have had it down to a science. The snubber on the lower control arm fell off at about 10k. The...

Don't ya just love when people come to an almost complete stop before they put their turn signal on, if they put it on at all? I always figure there are a lot of people out there with a broken left arm.

I think most of the new flashers are electronic and do both signals and 4-ways. I had trouble with the signal lights flashing erratically on my Lumina. They eventually stopped flashing. I took the flasher apart and determined it was sticky. Added some tension to the spring and away it went...
