Wow! I can see why it would cost so much being down there though. Been there once on my honey moon. Beautiful place!

Hey thanks Black Oak! Took another one down next door to neighbor of the first two. One large flying squirrel, 3 bats (including one that I thought was trying to attack me-got video on this), and one of the largest tree frogs I have ever seen.

Removed the trunk and fronds. But didn't even have to start the blower, rake, or load stump grindings :)

$600 a piece and done in one day would have been a really good day for me. The homeowner was really cool though he wouldn't let us clean up! He payed in cash, helped us load the trailer, and was an awesome guy to work for. I am getting better everyday because of you guys and gals on here. Thanks...

Knocked out the other one today and did a small job across the street. I knocked out about 100 or more paper wasps and yellow jackets out of the palm. Got to down load some video of the only flying squirel that jumped out and didn't quite make the landing. I felt bad for it when it bounced off...

Just took one down and forget to charge the GoPro. Seven flying squirels took flight out! It's ok because the flew to the next tree I am taking down tomorrow. Just noticed your post V I bid $500 per tree and $100 for both stumps. Everything went smooth except for about 50 wasps. They were half...

I wonder how the customer would respond if I said I was going to light it on fire first? Flaming flying squirrels would be pretty awesome to see if I must say? Don't worry I use to be a professional firefighter too

That's good to know Leon. I was just going by what the customer said last summer about bees. I am thinking worst case scenario. I didn't see any bees present when I looked at it. I believe it's too cold right now. This has been the coldest winter on record here. Today we had sleet close by in...

Thanks Bermy for giving sooo much good feedback! We had Katrina in 2005 and Isaac in 2012 which is how there is not that many fronds. The home owner's teenage son and the owner did clean up the trunks and manage to pull some fronds down several years ago. The load doesn't look to heavy to me...
