That's how the Snake Anchor works as well. Check out the video it's on the Treestuff website but I also posted the direct link to youtube. Watch what happens during a fall. I think this is where the future is heading. IMO!

In regards to taking falls on a static rope while working SRT or SRWP (Single Rope Work Positioning) wouldn't the Snake Anchor be a solution to this dilemma?
