Ha, maybe! The Multi truly is a fantastic bike with very addictive engine characteristics. I loved mine but no one else did! Not sure how durable the older style is out of warranty either. The BMW's are hard to beat but you have to go for a single for any real off road performance.

Get an BMW 800GS. All the advantages of the bigger bike but lighter and cheaper :-)

I had a Multi 2007 1200. Great bike, crap looks! Anybody seen the film 'Why we Ride'. Currently on iTunes, I really enjoyed it. M.

Went to the bike show in London today. Many a fine bike, wish I could afford a Ducati 1199 and a BMW S1000rr HP4 Carbon!

I would have liked the Ducati but just can't justify that money. Plus, I'm not convinced how well it would stand up to a few British winters!

New bike! A bit old man like but I can understand the fuss now as they just eat distance!

There was a test done in a mag a while back, basically they said there is only one manufacturer of jeans for riding in that offers any real protection. It's impossible to get the balance right of motorcycle jeans and fashion jeans. Personally for the money, I'll be sticking to leather!

Dunno what you mean by that mate, I have 2 x sets of leathers, one for racing and one for ride outs. I also have a set of textile kit for when I'm just cruising around or the weather is crap!

So I bought and sold a 1999 VFR 800 to raise some funds, sold my R6 to a guy in Germany, intended to be sensible, but bought this instead :)

Nices :) I camped at Donnington and some wally with an R6 was banging it off the limiter till 2am when the security nicked his shoes and dumped him 3 miles away to walk back :)

The last picture is Cal Crutchlow who was only 2 seconds off the pace of the 1000cc WSB's on his Supersport 600cc R6. He smashed all the previous track records... Only remarkable because he did it with a broken ankle and wrist from an accident in the Friday practise session !!
