Toyota Tundra, '03-'06...though for $9k I expect it'll be fairly high mileage. Really fine truck, for a daily driver that can do some real hauling/towing.

Not so sure I'd go for a short box if it's for work.

Buy a set of single chains with the half-disc adjusters for the outer wheels and you can go just about anywhere an unchained 4x4 can. If you roll the inner wheels up on a short piece of 2x8, chains are easy and fast to install.

I don't think a man could go wrong with a 2003-2006 Toyota Tundra. The performance will be a joy, but I fear the mileage will be a something of a disappointment...17-20 mpg.
