    Which is a whole world of "not enough space". If Greg thought it should be doubled up, he'd have designed it that way. Don't be stoopid, people. :) Just my opinion, I know somebody will be stoopid no matter what this old curmudgeon might say. ;)

    I don't know if you're the only numbskull, RopeArmour...but you seem to qualify, yourself :). Why is it people in general and arbs in specific feel like they should feel free to screw around with the way they use a device, waaaay outside of the design parameters? Just askin'. :D

    Boy, you got that right, John. Just mount both of them on the tree, one with Harken, one with bollard :D.

    More like the small units Frans and Paul fabbed up themselves. I don't think many would consider the Hobbs an "anything lite" :D.

    Sorry, Sean...I'm not following you. Seems like with the Smart Winch when you use the bollard the winch doesn't get any wear at all. But I may be missing something.

    Maybe there's some sort of gearing mechanism on the strap takeup to provide ma? Doesn't really look like it though.
