Nope, I haven't summited Hood. I really prefer to backpack off trail up to around timberline, say 6 or 7000 feet and then boulder around up under the noses of the glaciers at around 9000 max, myself. Almost never see other people doing that, whereas the popular routes to the summit are jammed...
