You're right Burnham, I've been meaning to work on that. Bad Habit. I know where it comes from too. I'm a golfer turned treeworker. When I grip a club my thumbs run damn near straight down the shaft. Usually with saw work I go by feel, I hope that I subconsciously wrap my thumb properly...
