Last year landowner had to run a burn pile after the splitter due to a load of waste left in the pile.(and in my F'n way) ... Next a small tractor to free the dirty runners out of the mud. Plus a small add on for me to come back to cut them as well.
So ... Done with this year's pile cut to 18" except for a few pieces still froze hard to the ground. Smaller pile overall w a better bid. Best part it was probably a different operator because the pile was humane this time. Less danger due to hieght , less dirt due to Excavator , and the best...
...that's the thing you can't discount the production of them , one operator can fill the Log Truck several times a day !!! My buddy asked me what they cost my guess $850 , 000 . Lot is close to my place and it seems they are finishing up. They used a Feller Buncher , a De Limber , Excavator ...

Pile is so dangerous , approx 15 Cord ... After five or six tanks took out big slings , the Tirfor w Croby , Chokers , and a 200' 5/8 line (as I was screwed for an anchor point) to safely collapse the death pile. Three hour investment in my own safety as it's a bid job.
