    Keep in mind there's a lot of difference between what a saw has to contend with than a weed wacker .Poor old saw is right down and dirty in it where a weed wacker engine is up in a more clean air .

    There is probabley enough material in a large pleated air filter for a furnace to make a dozen or more filters for a small engine .A good one is maybe 15 bucks . The reason they are pleated is two fold .One it adds more strength and two it adds more surface area . You wouldn't really need it...

    You can get small fuel line and kind of make "bushings" out of it .In other words stuff a little piece of it inside the larger tubing . It helps to use a hair drier or some source to heat to warm the tubing a tad bit . Hillbilly chainsawoligy 101 .

    You have to get the carb number and who made it ,Tillotson ,Walbro ,Zama whatever .It will be some place on the carb .Get that and I'll find you the primer .Better yet you find it and surf the net .It's out there some place . On that though in the morning if it's in my IPL,s I'll do a search...
