    How'd it go today?

...my unwanted crap behind, turn in my keys, and never look back. $720 is the cost of disappearing into the abyss without having to give a single f*ck about cleanup. Is it a dick move? I guess. It might be if it wouldn't cost me $720 haha It's like paying to do less and to incur less stress...

    How'd it go today?

Yup. For about 380.00, I can totally eliminate the issue and make it serviceable

Old Timers - Was The Blakes Hitch Pretty Cool When Released?

Storrick covers that too i think, and the different Bachmann knots (i didn't know he had more than 1).

    How'd it go today?

Thats enough to just swap it with a different make, what sick bastards would come up with something like that!? There's probably a redneck way too, if you got the keeper ring out or destroyed you could pull it, or maybe just cut the other end and weld it back up when you're done or something. I...

    How'd it go today?

With the end of the cylinder being tapered, I think it's a 1 time use ring that gets pressed into place, kind of like a piston pin ring, except there's no way to get the ring out. You'd have to machine the front outer edge of the cylinder off, make a new ring if the old can't be salvaged, weld...

Old Timers - Was The Blakes Hitch Pretty Cool When Released?

Ha! Clearly you haven't seen my YouTube channel. I've created, designed, developed and tested over 85+ new friction hitches at this point. I have at least 1-2 videos discussing and demonstrating how to tie each friction that anyone can watch and learn from, and then use themselves! I've also...

    I (Think/Hope) I Developed A New Hitch Design

Introducing my latest friction hitch: the Blizzard hitch! This is easily one of my best of all time. Below are some videos that you can watch all about it! In the last video at the bottom, I made a video where I demonstrate the hitch on an actual climb! Enjoy! Short form video (60 seconds or...

    How'd it go today?

It could be, hard to see on my phone. I would clean it out and check, but if it's not i bet it's a threaded cap.

Tree down in St Louis. Need help.

Yeah it needed oil, the right one is 15 years old and was worn daily for years when i was younger, pretty much mig welding all the time with it on too. I didn't have run a left hand pouch mig welding so to distribute the weight better i carried a 2 or 3 pound half sledge in the hammer loop, but...

    Beech leaf disease

Not a lot but I’m not in the woods as often as I’d like. It seems to not be very common in the residential setting. Of course beech aren’t that common in my area residentially. Apparently Ohio was mostly beech and maple forest originally. Your pics show it for sure. I’ll check next time I’m...

    How'd it go today?

Might that be a retaining ring?

    How'd it go today?

I would clean it out really good, blow it out really good with an air compressor, but what it looks like to me is that's a threaded ring holding it in place. If so then bleed the pressure and take the lines off, and then see if you can tap that around with a screwdriver (or something that fits...

    Official Guns Thread

There's more than one guy on YouTube with an NV setup on an air rifle, probably 100's. In the UK and Australia, that can be a job. Yes, that's an NV setup on my Marauder.

    How'd it go today?

Yeah, kind of shitty design. But it's what we could afford at the time, years ago. Kind of like it does not owe me anything. I have two. But the other is only a 21 ton. Anyway. A new cylinder is more serviceable down the road, but the design still sucks. IF I can afford a 30 ton in the future...

    Official Guns Thread

The .460S&W magnum will shoot the .454 Casull with low recoil and .45LongColt +P rounds very light recoil. Full power .460S&W magnum rounds are absolutely not a novelty, and not a gun to let beginners shoot.
