When I lived in the "city", we once got a ton of snow. I spent a couple hours(maybe. seemed like forever. Too long ago for an accurate time) digging my F100 1wheel drive turd out of it's spot. Girlfriend's Taurus drove right out. Barely any digging :^/
Still snow on the ground here. Lots of bare spots, but still significant coverage. It's been a few years since snow lasted this long. It used to always be like this.
Heh... I watched General Hospital when I was a kid. It was during the Luke & Laura saga. So stupid :^D Shit hooks you in though. An hour of nothing, with the promise of something tomorrow that never comes :^D
Are soaps still a thing? I thought they all died out.
27° and snowing now, though the snow won't be anything. Staked out a property corner, and boss asked if I wanted to do a commercial location survey. Of course I don't, because they're lame and boring, but I told the boss it's up to him. He decided to postpone til tomorrow when it'll be warmer...
First of all, CA is close to the bottom of the first world states I'd want to move to, but after one fire? I think I'd look around, think "Why am I even here?", consider that fires are only getting more plentiful, and worse, then GTHO.
Woodstove's struggling to keep up. I went to bed last night at ~2am after falling asleep in the chair, and the fire was still going. Wokeup this morning, and the thermostat was at 50°, then dropped to 49° by the time I made coffee. It was 48° by the time I got the fire going, and it's now at 50°...
Monday looks interesting. Had my ass parked inside all day. Fire going, and listening to christmas music, so the weather's mostly irrelevant to me. I guess I should've been organizing my pine wood, but wasn't motivated. Maybe tomorrow.
DAY ONE...Tonight
A few severe storms are possible this evening. Locally damaging
wind gusts, large hail, and a brief tornado are possible.
Special Marine Warnings are possible for the waters this evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
A Gale Watch is in effect Wednesday...
One of the best times I had at work was a snow day. Me and my partner showup at the job, snow's finishing, and the fog is *heavy*. Neither of us is super enthused about looking for property corners, and we shoot the shit for awhile in the truck, then go out to look for corners. You can barely...
Screw warm weather, and screw the sun. This bullshit has become "typical" December weather. I want to feel like my nose snaps shut from the cold when I go outside in the morning. Just closed my door. House was at about equilibrium with outside @ 59°, and temps will start dropping.
