I normally ask customers what their plans are and how they plan on maintaining the area in the years to come.
We don’t do much clearing these days and we do even less mulching.
Been noticing more clients asking for forestry mulching lately, even on jobs where full clearing might make more sense.
Mulching is quick and looks clean, but it doesn’t handle stumps or roots, and I’ve seen regrowth come back faster in some spots.
How are you guys deciding between mulching...

I wanted to fell them whole but it was windy. Turns out they’re more of a bush than a tree and Full of pigeon nests, dead and alive critters, caterpillars, dirt, trash….
I have always financed equipment. But every piece of equipment I have ever bought made me more money than it cost. And I would rather keep some money in the bank and get a loan rather than spend all my money on a piece of equipment. And besides, I figure it makes sense to let the equipment pay...
