    How'd it go today?

I have a nice bruise under my thumb nail. Not black but it’s tender and sensitive. A few scuffed knuckles my guy got a nice slice from a hose clamp and bled everywhere. I think it would be easier to remove the engine next time.

S800tx mini. You can only see four inches of the belt under the hood. Getting it on the crank should be fun. Not to mention I volunteered to help spread 100+ yards of chips at my girls school.

    How'd it go today?

Absolutely! It’s just one of those belts in an impossible location. Not the hardest repair just blind, like the literal definition of blind repair. If I had the hands and forearms of a toddler it might not be so bad. Lol

    How'd it go today?

Take a deep breath and count to ten and exhale. Once again inhale hold for ten and exhale slowly. Listen to the birds chirping, I’m sorry, I mean listen to the chipper chipping and chainsaws running and take comfort that you were right and your customer is not.

Skylining/ high-leading 450 pound micro chipper into forest

How steep of a run are you talking about? Guy the support trees. IMO I would think a simple high line and a haul back would do it. Slack the high line and use that to raise the chipper and the haul back as the descent line and retrieval line. Mini pulling it up hill if you have the run.

I had a fun experience two weeks ago closing a road. It was a big cottonweed by the side of the road in a wealthy neighborhood. Roads all coned off machines are impassably blocking the road so no danger of anybody driving thru. A lady comes screeching up to the cones arms flailing like she was...
