Well it is going pretty good. I just ran a 62 mile race up in Oregon a week ago. Slow as a snail but finished for the 10th year in a row. Knees hurt but my mind felt awesome!!!
That is an awesome idea!! I usually have a list of folks who have called and want to buy them when I have some available. I get $100 a load delivered. Some days I have no place to dump nearby and that would clear the truck in a heart beat!
I personally don't like the sound of "cheap crane". We do around 30 crane jobs a year and I prefer to rent. Rear mount is for sure the ticket. I guess if you owned one you would want to rent it out to other tree guys with you at the controls?
My monster size black cat is indoor/outdoor. He fights with other cats outside and often gets the worst of it. Wish he was an indoor only but I think he would burn the house down if we didn't let him outside now. He is King of the house. I do cat rescues often. Never charge but I do accept...
Well..... for the first time in 32 years of running races I started a race and couldn't finish it!! The course was super brutal. Only 9 people were able to complete the course out of 40. I dropped out at 42 miles right on the time cutoff. I love challenges and this one proved to be too...

I have a rope come-along and a 2 ton come-along in the truck too for the monsters. I'm afraid to use my truck to pull because I can't really gauge how much force is being generated. That always make me think about a you-tube video.... here, hold my beer, I'm gonna pull this tree over with my...

We use a 3:1 on a regular basis using the pro-traxion to lock off our progress. Another 2 inch diameter pulley on a butterfly and your good to go. I usually also hand place a wedge in the back cut if we are pulling against the...
I haven't ever flown in New Mexico. I'll have to check it out next year. I live in Flagstaff and yes the flying is awesome here. Many hike n fly mountains/hills. You are flying quite the gentleman's wing there my friend. You da man!!
Great video Nate! Turns out I was camped near you in the orange tent with the grey shelter. I was up there flying my paraglider all weekend. Wish we could have made the connection. I had no idea that was YOU from Texas. I had the white Ford 350. Very nice flying. I am new to paragliding...
