    Gardening - Growing Your Own.

With no employees, just help from family when available, it keeps them busy literally from dawn to dusk 7 days a week. I've seen my dad out recently with a headlamp. Says it's better than working in the heat.

    Gardening - Growing Your Own.

I grew up on my family's farm and live on adjoining property now. It's just my dad and uncle mainly. This year about 700 tomato plants, a few acres of sweet corn, watermelons, and cantaloupe each. Plus okra, squash, green beans, etc. I love tree work, but fresh produce farming is hard work.

    Georgia splicers?

I just came across a big ol' hank of blue bee line. Anybody know of anyone in north Georgia who can splice it? Looking to have some eye to eyes made up.

    Hunting 2014

I've hunted pheasants with some great gsp's. get within 10 feet and not move a muscle. My choice is Chesapeake bay retriever. Grew up with them, they're stubborn as shit, but they're hard to beat for a waterfowl dog. I'm thinking of foregoing dove opening day for a flock of greater Canada's that...

    Hunting 2014

Friend of mine in Colorado had a gsp that wouldn't point to save his life. But he would swim 200 yards to fetch a duck or goose that glided out. That dog just wouldn't quit on a duck retrieve.

I know this thread is based mostly on deer and hogs, but................Dove season opens tomorrow in GA!!!! That means teal and geese are only a couple weeks out. Then come the big ducks!

    What's on RIGHT NOW!

Watched every episode so far. Pretty good show. They got a lot of stuff right, but I still find myself nitpicking what they got wrong. What was your rate, butch?

    Rope ID

Fairly certain it's the pro stripe. Got it a place that gets lots of mill ends and occasionally some odd length climbing line. Brand new rope but no packaging, just tape and a paper marked arborist. This ones actually 116 ft. For $55 I figured why not.

    Question about flip line climbing

Thanks fellas. It helps me to see it. This place is great, but it's almost an info overload at times.

    Rope ID

Anybody know what kind of rope I have here? The guy said its an arborist climbing rope and he thinks its made by Yale. All I know is its 1/2" x 120. Thanks.

    Question about flip line climbing

Hi guys, I'm vurry new to this tree climbing stuff, so sorry if my questions seem a little obvious. When you guys are doing a removal with spurs/flipline, what are your preferred methods of secondary attachment?
