    New use for old tool

💯 The corner of my storage shed has some of the gravel holding up one corner washed out. Of course you could never put the gravel back where it belongs and have it be tight so I apply double wedges- the face cut wedge (@Mick! a gob) from a cherry tree for volume and then drive in a plastic...

Never heard that term. Is it a reference to what a RW does in a system

I'm feeling safer already:dude: These areas and routes I have in mind, alot of them good climbers would simply free solo bc they are probably V1 or 5.7 but I'm way to elderly for highball boulders etc. Nobody wants to fall but especially us elder folks.

I have both 1/2" tree rope or the skinnier, bouncy rock rope. I would use an abrasion pad if needed. I would anchor to a tree in line with the climb. Yes the gym you linked is a great gym which I go to fairly often. I should check into it with them but was leaning toward something quiet and...

    Rock Climbing

So Ive been thinking of solo top roping some large boulders/small cliffs near my house. My idea is to use some friction device that will easily take up slack and also catch me if I slip/fall (duh). I've done very little tree SRT but tons of tree DdRT/MRS with a zig zag. So I experimented and put...
