It's very worth it. Everything is mobile this days and people want to be able check out your website with the convenience of their phone.

yes defintly. $700 seems reasonable assuming the guy does a good job. Not having a mobile optimized site these days is the equivelant of having a Z listing in an A-Z

My point would be to just get a more simple website. Put something together with a wordpress template that is also mobile optimized. Easy peazy.
