I was just trouble shooting the glitch in my power pruner on/off switch, it proved to be simply an unplugged wire coupler. Whilst in there I found a thin wire which the vinyl coating had rubbed off of in a small spot maybe an eighth inch long. I want to cover the bare wire but electrical tape won't get it done cuz the wire is just too thin to make it stick long term. I'm envisioning some sort of glue or similar that I could dab on there and it would adhere long term.

Thoughts?

I'd try some kind of liquid gasket. Even ShoeGoo might work if it doesn't get too hot.

Thx alot!

CV's link looks ideal but I already possess shoe goo so I'll try that

I have a little can of liquid electrical tape from O'Reilly. Has a little applicator brush in the lid, like rubber cement. Great stuff. Shoo goo will probably work, but a can of liquid tape is a few dollars of wise investment, especially when you can keep track of it...
