Be forewarned!

Aside from the "tree fail" compilations, this may be the lamest video on the internet involving a chainsaw. As mentioned previously, I actually turned the camera off for the fall, instead of on.

But if you like watching big wood go over (like at least 30 pounds) then this will excite you greatly! Hope it gives you a laugh!

I'm encouraged that the bar for my tree vids has been set so low. Nowhere but up!

Looks like the streaking would make some cool small boards, if you have a bandsaw.


I wear my chaps a bit tighter. Keeps the chaps from hanging out, being able to spin on your leg if snagged by the saw, and from blocking that air intake at the starter cover when running the saw near my leg. fwiw.

The beam cutter didn't fair so well on my 046. Some one gave it to me to try out. Couldn't keep the screws tight on the bar and now it's in a few pieces.

The summer's been nutty and the scarlet oak project remains shelved for a bit.
