Are you going to watch?

WOW! I just opened that on the IPad and the whole Earh was moving around. Very cool.

I might now.

I'm not interested in the actual "walk". I am interested in the prep work: ground anchors, hauling cable, etc., etc. Jamie just posted that Yale Unitrex rope was used to set the cable.

I understand there were EMT's waiting at the bottom
… with little freezer bags … :)

I doubt he would have hit the ground. He said he would "hit the wire" and wait for his rescue crew. Hell, I bet it wasn't really that hard to do, considering his experience and skill level.

I watched it. I wouldn't have felt bad if he croaked. I admire his bravery, but his insistence on no fall arrest tells me he is willing to die.

I agree, although the high winds rippling his shirt and pants definitely seemed serious and challenging.

I bet he practiced hitting the wire 50 times a day.

Wear a tether? Pshaw, then it's not a stunt - it's just practice.
