Vermeer BC600xl

needs hour meter and latch is broke on battery storage.

I bought it this way in Jan 2012. I'll sell if through TH for $5,000.

Used on one job since 10/18/13 when Vermeer checked it all out, sharpened blades and re-set bed bed knife.

I passed the info on to my buddy here..... Too rich for his blood I guess. Personally I think it's priced right for any buyer.

Thanks Eric. No worries, just don't use it very often and thought someone else might get better use out of it.
 
I've got this addiction to Craigslist. I am constantly searching for tree related stuff. Chipper, stumpers, trucks, saws, loaders, trailers, whatever. I can tell you that 6“ Vermeer chippers are usually posted for $6500 to $7000 in similar condition and hours. Who knows what they sell for, but those are the asking prices anyhow.

That's about what I'm seeing in the market. I have it listed for 6k on another site.

I hear ya Stephan, I'd probably meet anyone 1/2 way that was interested. Eric's friend would have worked out great as I was working nearly 1/2 way there already last week; could have just hauled it to work with me one day.
 
Truth be told I should sell my Olathe and buy something like your BC600 for my backup-easier to tow and actually a better chipper than the old 984. I got the Bandit 90XP for 5k that is now my primary.
