Ray, I can't believe all the fish that you and your friends catch. Are commercial guys or many other fisherman hitting those waters? I mean all those large beautiful Red Snappers, c'mon!

John 21:13: Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish.

I've wondered if it's common for fish to frequent specific spots repeatedly. I suppose that would mainly apply to fish that like it down in the rocks.

Ray, do you use a positioning device to find the harbor if necessary? If so, do you find it useful for relocating fish hangouts?

A new more affordable one is just about to open up in my town next month, the revolving plate style. The only other one is the more expensive order and someone brings it to you type. Bigger pieces of fish in the earlier place, known for that. Some say too big.

Mackerel are great fun to fish. Those boys can run. I used to catch them off the Malibu barge on the west coast with a feather. When the schools were about it was the sporting life. Asians would be waiting at the dock for them.

We've got them here too, a couple lakes close by. People here eat just about anything domestic that has fins or moves about on four legs, but oddly, Bass isn't something I have ever seen on a table.

Ray, Lingcod are considered especially good eating. Other Rock fish are good enough I guess you could say, rather simple tasting flesh. Abundant down in holes along the north coast.

Wonderful fish there, Ray! Cudos pounding it out in rough seas.

Man, I just saw a vid about a kayak fisherman that was fishing off of Hawaii and left his foot dangling in the water. No good result came from that. :(

I'm going to get back to the coast one day too. Tsunami, hurricanes, everything rusts in ten minutes.... Sunsets can be nice though.

Nice catch. The boy already has a worker's hands. No need to worry about him.
