    I ate at a Russian food restaurant awhile back, not one in Russia but still... My second time there. The food is really great and you walk out happy. No patrons in there acted crazy and I restrained myself. Eating with a fork and not chopsticks is nice.

    I'd rather be just blind, which diabetes will do to you, then be blind with a bad liver. A good friend of mine had a bad liver, not from drinking, from getting bad blood in the hospital when just a kid. It sucks.

    At least in the states, the rule with scuba is to always dive with a buddy. I don't think it is emphasized nearly as much if at all when free diving.

    There's some real scary stuff on youtube of people diving super deep holes using special breathing mixes. Potential disorientation seems to be a real problem, simple tasks can become very difficult, one reason some are still down there in the darkness.

    Dove the Carmel trench or Monterrey Canton it's called, with scuba. A mile deep, my buddy and I pulled up at 110 feet. Deepest canyon along the entire US west coat, I believe. Did a "bounce dive", didn't stay down there long enough to have to decompress on the way up. Like MB, it's eerie...
