Fiona, Bermuda tacks 22.5% on everything that gets brought into the country? If so, unbelievable! What do they call that, import robbery?

I wouldn't think that duty charges have any connection to the seller, it's your country's custom's thing. Some things they charge duty on, others not.

If you mean discontent, I don't think that has ever before even been mentioned as a possibility.

That's real cool, Leon. I have placed a number of large orders for tree work gear, two or three large parcels to a shipment. the shipping cost has been a killer from other companies. Some goods like what they term synthetic ropes, gets a special tax (protectionism), on top of the 5% sales tax...

Hi Mark, I'm Jay. I've been up on your prairie there before. Still have a friend out that way. People seemed independent.

I read with interest people's objections to Sherrill. One lady at Sherrill named Maureen, has always taken good care of me in a kindly professional fashion, plus their efforts to be as helpful as is possible on the shipping. I would order from TreeStuff now first for sure, but I have much...

All tree work related supplies here come from the states, and the one shop that I mentioned seems to get their goods the same way, and I think not wholesale. Rock climbers and people using ropes in the mountains, European gear, especially ropes, is still in much favor. I really understand your...

Speaking of discounts and the like, I always wonder why places will say they will ship free if the amount of order is over a certain amount, but that only applies to domestic shipping. I wouldn't expect a foreign shipment to go for free, but it seems like they could at least reduce the amount...

I think the change in size has helped it out a lot. The banner looks cool up there now.

Can what is on the top on the right side now, the welcome, notifications, my profile, last visit, etc., be put in the top middle of the page? Then have the TreeStuff banner made a bit smaller then put on the right side. It might balance things out, and help with the priority of headings. In...

Is a logo really required for this application? Just combining the words, "Tree" and "Stuff" in a snappy way, maybe with a border, seems sufficient. Have it be the logo. No offense, but I don't think that the heart and tree accomplish much, unless the company wants you to keep what they use...

On the bottom banner, with a mac monitor that has the tool bar on the bottom, as is probably most common, it interferes with the banner. If you raised up the banner and had the donate, etc., to the side or something, it would fit better. Making the bottom banner smaller would solve that as well

Based upon your accomplishments, Squish, I think that knocking down trees and plowing snow is all that you need to know. Sounds so simple.... :|:
