    There was a kind of rock fish that was called a Sculpin. Found in the same zones as the rock cods. There is some toxicity in their dorsal fin, so if you get poked it can be a problem other than just the cut.

    It looks similar to what is called "Rock cod" along the California coast, but I can't recall if that color was common. Bottom dwellers and pretty easy to catch in quantity of you find a hole where they are.

    Same with growing vegetables, it can be expensive for fertilizer if you use the chemical type....plus the time investment. A good garden requires time, both the prep for planting then the maintenance.

    Saltwater fish have to drink a lot more water than freshwater fish, something about the salt balance in their bodies. Freshwater fish have to produce a lot more pee. Remember that when at the fish market.

    People in Maine are proud of their lobsters. I recall going through customs in Bangor, Maine, and there being a small tank with a few lobsters in it against the wall. They were real too.
