Glad you found your true self again, Squish. I think you were wavering there for awhile.

I guess it isn't too bad if they throw chains at you, as long as it is for free. Nice one!

Is a different bar required for the .325 narrow kerf, or the same bar that is used for regular .325? I recently went from 3/8 lo-pro to regular .325 on my oldie but goodie 242xp. I think narrow kerf would be the better way to go. High chain speed is the best attribute of that model.

My general minimally explored opinion is that you need at least somewhere between 40-45ccs of power in a saw before running .325 becomes a positive option over lighter and narrower kerf chain..

Same here, Leon, on my 020. Especially like the longer cutters they have.

How about a locking bar cover that you can have on there when at full throttle. Set it down and finish your coffee.

Cool that it sets the saw, but if there is no trigger lock that keeps it at wot, that is a long time to stand there doing only that.. Setting wide open saws on the ground is probably not the safest thing either.

I was wondering too. Not sure about the auto tune models, but running lean at start up is a common thing with a lot of saws. Some saws can run a bit lean like that for a minute or two with the chain spinning.

Wonder if a slight tweak of the low speed screw towards richer might fix that?

It seems like sometimes just holding the trigger will turn a two pull starting saw into a one. Seldom engage the chain brake, though.

Sounds real good, luck with the new saw.

Not wanting to be skeptical, but "Blows the doors off", is a pretty big statement. I might want to trade an 090 for one.

Welcome to the treehouse. "Crapped the bed", I'm not familiar with that saw term. Perhaps it is a regional dialect thing? :/:

Does the 201 use the same type muffler as the 200? Taking off the screen and opening up the internal passage of the muffler on my 020 made a significant difference.

Anybody else bugged by that guy in the video? The way he throws the saws around, pops the filter cover and it falls to the ground, the general demeanor like a big showoff .....new gloves, new helmet, new chainsaws pants... Hey buddy, get some dirt or sumpin.
