I use non treated Samson double braid exclusively, never had a wear problem at all. I only run my rigging thru pulleys or blocks , so the extra 10-15 bucks isn't worth it to me. I purchase the treated line for the crew cause I know they don't always follow protocol. There is nothing wrong at all...
