Did you just drill a second hole (7mm) or expand the factory one by 7? Don't worry Jed the timber paint outta wear off quickly

My new 201 TC has been great. Like Reg stated it needs a bit more power but it's definatly much better than its previous models. It has been pretty consistent for me. I can adjust for the saw as long as it runs the same every day. The only problem that I've found is that my air filter is not...

I'd agree. Mine at work is stock. I'm wondering what a muffler mod and timing adjustment would do for it. It's running great. I've run a few gallons through it by now

Damn. Forgot to check. This saw seems to be the real deal. I'm really liking it. I don't foresee a long fast drop or a close encounter with a truck tire in its future.

Yes, yellow is not available at the counter. You have to ask for it. Same with a skip.

I'll double check what I've got. I know that they stock it for the company I work for because I requested it. Same reason they now stock the skip tooth for my 28&32" bars. I don't know the actual part number but I will remember to get it.

Sorry I missed your question Ben. I think about $650. I can call and check tomorrow. I've got quite a few tanks run through it now. It's been the real deal. I'm still getting used to the starting. No drop starting while holding the trigger. It starts great if you can remember that.

That looks to be the chain.

14" stihl bar with the normal chain. I'll check the actual chain tomorrow, but it's whatever the dealer put on

 Mines getting stronger with every tank. I just got down from a red oak removal and was making 8-12" topping and limb cuts to hang. It was able to keep up with the long limbs in 25-30 mph winds with no splitting. Really liking it

Ran another two tanks through it today on a spar. It's getting stronger, still hoping for more but it's getting there. I have a tendency to blip the throttle after a big cut ( to clear the bar of any chips) and it stalled out after a couple of times. It fired right back up though.

Well since I had to plow Saturday early morning and the windchill was negative 20 I didn't get to run it till today. I put 3-3&1/2 tanks through it. Throttle response has been great off the get go. The power seems to be waking up as well. The first tank the power was very bad and the tank only...

Yeah kinda. Got some wood to stack at the house Sunday. I've also got to get some big eye bolts anchored in my garage ceiling as tie in points for my daughter

I'll let you know. All I did was pick it up today and put it on the truck for tomorrow. My 4-5 month old 201t decided to run like hell for the last two days so it went in and the 201tc came out. I'll get a few tanks through it tomorrow and probably work it hard Monday.

That's one off an older saw. The one that came with it would've held an 18 or 20" bar

I'll handle it in short bursts. I will be in the bucket so it's not a big deal to come down for a few minutes here and there.

I'm so happy!!! -15 windchill tomorrow. We'll see how she handles it.

Still waiting patiently:X All the ones at work seem to be on their best behavior since they know I can't wait to be rid of them.

I didn't like either gen. First was garbage. Second was much better but still was no 200t. I own a020, 3- 200t, and a first gen 201t. I grab a 200 99% of the time. At work we're all second gen 201 now with a single 200 still in use. I still reach for it most of the time. If the new 201tc runs...

I don't touch mine. Saw mechanic I go to has been telling me for years that they put them little screw drivers in the tool packet to drum up more business. I have to wait till January to get my hands on a new 201. I'll be sure to comment on it
