    Mike, it’s really not to bad to buy the parts. Give them a call and ask. I can’t remember but I did end up replacing both sides on mine and wasn’t overly upset on the money spent.

    I’m also thinking the bolts are wearing out. I notice play when I’m messing with it. I will admit that I’ve probably been a bit rough and done things it shouldn’t do. Duh, I am a tree guy. I can’t complain, it’s been a great tool. I owe it a rebuild before replacement.

    Thanks. I remembered that I still haven’t added the pipe to lessen abrasion. I twisted the large side of the grapple. I’m gonna see what I can do for it plating wise and maybe add square rods to the outside. Just have to make sure they won’t interfere with the rake/broom. Haven’t tried it on a...

    Thanks from me too. I'll be adding the pipe for rounded edges soon. I did cut small triangle pieces of steel and welded to the tips to sharpen the teeth for grabbing larger diameter logs. When they dull up I just grind them off and weld new on. Takes minutes. Saves hours of frustration. My...
