Just a nice scenery overlook picture from a couple days ago. The forest roads are now mostly free of ice and snow.

Another interesting day out in the field today. Had these Pacific white-sided dolphins join us during part of the boat ride. If you slow down to the right speed they often will head to the boat just to play.

What are the hunting regulations? Is it too restrictive to make a difference? Maybe we can send some wolves and brown bears over. 😁 We have plenty to share They might mess with your pigs. 🙂

Interesting, not much eats Sitka around here except porcupines. We experimented with vexar tubing on some areas where we planted Alaska Yellow Cedar...it wasn't particularly helpful. What is the repellent you are spraying and how long is it effective for, given rain etc?

Are you using any dead branches? The Bald eagles here strictly use dead branches for their nests.

Are you finding that the eagles are using any of the trees you're working on?
