Feeding upright chunks of wood into a chippper. good or bad???
Most chips nowadays have an electronic 'auto-feed'. If my chipper bogs a little controller automatically stops and slightly reverse the feed rollers until it powers back up to where it's supposed to be. Fully adjustable for rpms it kicks in at and amount of reversing and at what rpm it starts...- squisher
