I think it's 16 or 18 inch minimum. I think about catching those guys the next time they come in from the salt so I generally turn them loose. That one was a native so couldn't have kept it anyway

Black rockfish, pretty common here. They can get 40 to 50 years old. Also got some ling cod and I didn't get the hook set on a halibut

Chartered a couple boats for the crew this am. Had a blast, Orrin had 3 fish on at once 2 times , the second time, I did too. I think we had about 60 fish between the 2 boats today !
