Someone at Gehl needs to wise up and hire you as a sub contractor or something for loader design haha. I'd love a machine like that.

I'll say that after seeing and working with Keith, I don't know if a 540 would suit him well. The extra 10" or 11" of lift height the kubota has(I'm pretty sure that's the number) is key for him. They own two full sized dump trucks and he rocks a grapple bucket, so he needs to be able to reach...

The Gehl joints are pretty beefy from my experience. And as has been said, Carl isn't the easiest on things haha. If it could break he would have broken it I'd say.

A wider stance is always nice when dealing with more weight, but the narrower width is nice for getting into tight places. Being able to get all that power into a tight area is great for certain jobs. I've fit my 340 into places your 520 wouldn't fit, and the 540 isn't much larger (3" wider, 14"...

Sweet. I was gonna ask about that for increasing capacity, but that saves me that trouble.

Always liked the AL20, Dad was sooooo close to buying one years ago, to think what life would have been like if he did haha.

This in a long walnut log I picked up a few weeks after I got my 340. Approx 20" at the butt. Like 22' long, given I don't have it heeled right at the tip like Carl has in his pic, but dad could push it down to ground with his hand.

Nothing too exciting here. Some video I threw together from about a month after I got the Gehl. Mainly just messing around with Windows Movie Maker, first go at a movie with it. Some good sized cherry pieces, the Gehl made that normally 2 day job into a 1 day job, being able to move big wood and...

I'll get some of the tow behind stumper, I have a few pics of it as well right now, but no video yet. Should have a job coming up soon. I'll have a hitch receiver for the bmg by then as well, so it'll work way better.
