I use small prussics in place of alpine butterflies in tightening systems (Z drag) lately. I have a mix of sizes...Imma gonna try that setup when I'm in a small top next time. I've used the 540...that prussic/biner setup should be quick to apply. Thanks for the share...interesting idea.

Leather friction saver I used to use all the time. Easy to set up. Jeff Jepson's book taught me to do it. Whatever I use a double rope technique I use a leather donkey friction saver.
