Great info...thx. I have a friend who was extremely paranoid about microfractures. Teaching Scouts to climb 1 year a scout dropped one from waist high on to the rock at his feet and this guy almost lost it mentally. Poor scout did not know what was happening. .

Interesting to see that...rated at 25kn...broke at 23.92. Was still over the 5,000 pound minimum. Is the theory that it broke at <25kn because it was dropped? It did not break at drop damage point.
