    Oh, well. Looks like a cool house from what I can see, and a front yard fireplug adds a little piece of mind. I'd still buy it. I wonder if the treeco did an inspection, and made a sensible removal recommendation?

    If it was something that was frequently done, they make tip guards for consumer saws. I think all my echoes came with one.     I've broken down branch piles like that. I don't know about "very unsafe", but it depends. Danger level definitely increases. Also derails chains easier.
