A question probably no one can answer... I was talking to Treeaddict, and puzzling over why more companies don't offer hybrid gaffs. Seems obvious to me. The gaff choices are thick barked redwoods, or beech trees. Almost everything falls between those extremes that a hybrid gaff would fill...

This just popped up on the rotator... I always presumed "caddies" referred to the aluminum pads exclusively. Butch said he liked the shincups also.

I like my shincup pads. I've spent at least three hours in them, and not even the inkling of a problem. If I lost them, I wouldn't even consider anything else.
