    I’m a sucker for a bargain

Westcoast saw has 20% off this weekend(excluding Oregon reels). It's probably of limited interest to an arborist focused community, but if you wanted some bigger dogs for a saw, or maybe a nice progressive raker gauge, it would be a good time to buy. https://westcoastsaw.com/

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

I don't think so. They're all big names in the industry. Well liked, and widely used ropes. I noticed it before with the Predator rope. That one was weird one for arboriculture. It was specced as a good line, but was in subdued colors. Maybe for hunters, or something like that. I could...

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

I think this might be a deal. I've never used SaveEdge files, but they seem to have a good reputation. TreeStuff has 13/64 files for 89¢/each. Those are Chinese file prices. I'm tempted to try them out, but I don't need other stuff, and it's hard to make an order for files when I already have a...

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

Just a general announcement... Y'all get the same emails I do, but now's the time to buy, especially if you have some expensive purchases in mind. There's a bunch of good specials during Black Friday week, and you can pretty much count on getting 20% off your order from most places. Minus the...

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

I got this mail from wesspur. It's kind of a delayed deal, where you buy stuff, wait til next year, then buy some more stuff and get a credit on it. It's a good deal if major purchases are anticipated, but not immediately needed.

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

There's colors I like better than others. If I'm getting something anyway, I'll pick the color I prefer, even if it doesn't last. Last thing I got from TreeStuff was some XSRE screwlocks on clearance. They canceled one of them cause they were OOS, and when I asked to replace it with a...

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

TreeStuff is giving a free RopeRunnerPro with a $650 order, code "RRP". It's TreeStuff, and they can be expensive on stuff, but it might be worth looking into if you need some gear anyway.

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

This is a very time sensitive deal. I just ordered a Chinese knockoff of the Granberg edging mill for $43. For the next 3.5hr it's marked down from $61. I feel a little guilty about buying a Chinese knockoff, and the quality may be trash, but I could really use it right now, and can't justify...

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

Yea, I'll do something. I've got plenty of toy biners now. BTW, the "deal" I posted above is still selling for the same price. It's not a very exciting deal, but this price is cheap for fairly useful items. The strongish biners seem to be made pretty well, and the toy biners are typical Chinese...

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

I love their clearance rope section. That's where I first became aware promaster came in ⅜". It was gone before I decided to get it, but my next order will have some in it whether or not it's clearance. It'll be a saw lanyard. I've gotten a fair amount of stuff there, That where my bifröst...

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

Here's kind of a lame deal I just got from amazon, four kinda strong biners, and 8 toy biners for $6. Seller limits one set per order. I got them(the four strong) for very light rigging. Chinese, but if they're even half as strong as they say, it'll be sufficient, and little biners are useful...

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

I was thinking belt+suspenders. A tight eye, and maybe a paracord double constrictor just cause.

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

I watched a video on it a year or so ago, and just downloaded another one to refresh my memory. Looks pretty straightforward. All I need are the fids and some rope. What do think is a good length ultra for that thimble? I tend to overdo stuff, and go bigger/longer 'just in case', and it ends up...

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

Treestuff has Notch triple thimbles pretty cheap @ $50. Chinese made, but whatever; $50. I want to set it up as a ultrasling, but that'll be some time in the future when I buy the rope, and figure out splicing it. https://www.treestuff.com/notch-hard-coated-triple-thimble/

    I’m a sucker for a bargain

If speaking of "Ropemaster" as a group of people, "are" would be correct to use. Using "Ropemaster" as a single entity "is" is appropriate. There may be a style guide that covers the best way to handle that for professional writing, but for every day speech, I think either would be acceptable.
