That lift has a 500lb unrestricted load chart meaning it's good for 500lbs anywhere it can reach.

At the beginning I tied them together to keep them less in the way, at the end I untied/recovered the rope. That tree was over 4 power lines, 3 fences, bushes, etc. Actually, sawman, I didn't get started on the job until ~330pm!

Here's a job I did Friday afternoon. Quickie in and out! (Came back Saturday afternoon to pick up the debris on the street). <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/a-3qEoL8TWY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I would think the lift could be certified by a company that certifies cranes/aerial work platforms/buckets, depending on Japan's requirements. Thanks for thinking about me! Carl

Yeah my theory is that the average person will do the simple things themselves, so my goal is to empower them with the ability to do so. As a consumer/user I don't like being forced to go to the dealer for every little thing, and I assume the average buyer. If they want me to change their oil...

The maintenance training is only offered in England, as far as I know. Surely if someone wanted to have a factory maintenance trainer come to them in the US and train them, that should be doable but perhaps impractical. More knowledge is rarely a bad thing. Maintaining the lift's usual...

Should be getting another in stock soon! Scott Nelson/Arborworks bought an SD64 ~4 weeks ago. Maybe he'll let us know how he's liking it! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/-n37yvnGR0E" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    Thanks :) Here's some work from today, getting 12 of the 24 trees down. 30x real time means every 2 seconds is 1 minute. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/s6YIOU2NNI4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

That video is 20x real time. 124 minutes to put 12 trees on the ground and 2 of the 4 setups. 12 pines today took 105 minutes, quite a few setups (5-6?). Approximately, It takes 72 seconds to go from the fully stowed position to full height. 36 seconds to extend the top boom, 31 seconds to...

I really like the telescoping boom, elevator style bottom boom, and the jib. The elevator for the bottom boom doesn't effect reach, but so the top boom has to make up for that. Also you have full reach with the booms fully retracted, which is handy. I limbed/topped 12 pines trees today in a...

Here's a walk around video I shot this afternoon. I have another video I'm editing showing the controls from the basket. I also ran it against a stop watch today: Fully retracted to full elevation: 72 seconds Both booms from their cradles to fully up: 41 seconds Extend top boom...

They don't, for the SD64. With the basket rotated the basket isn't as wide when telescoping in. I don't do much trim work, but I have done one trim job so far and it the basket wasn't an issue. On removals the extra space is nice to hold chunks of wood and in general have more room to move around.
